On 30th of March, 2013, accompanied by the Vice GM He Sili, Vice Standing Commander Han Dianfeng in Cambodian Direction Department, Minister Lin Jianhe from Cambodian Irrigation and Meteorology Ministry, State Secretary Rong Shakun and officials from Cambodian Irrigation and Meteorology Department have come to visit the 1st phase of Kanghot Irrigation Development Project undertaken by our company in Battambang Province.

During the visit, Minister Lin Jianhe and Secretary Rong Shakun have inspected the site carefully; check the project operation and river barrage construction, responding to the requirement by Minister Lin Jianhe, the working staff opened No.4 Sluice Gate for water outflow test, the 4-meter high river water bursts out of the sluice gate after 3 days’ impoundment. The officials from Cambodian Irrigation and Meteorology Ministry have also inquired some relevant conditions in details and given some advices and suggestions. After hearing the project report, Minister Lin Jianhe expressed his satisfaction for the schedule and quality, he confirmed the accomplishments obtained in this project, gave high evaluation over the spiritual outlook of the working staff, and praised the long term amicable cooperation between Kanghot Irrigation Development Project Team and Cambodian Irrigation and Meteorology Ministry. At the same time, the inspection team reached a consensus that all works were going fast and all expected missions were completed successfully.

Later on, Minister Lin Jianhe Pointed out: Battambang Province is his hometown, he felt gratified for benefiting the people there. And the delighting achievement of the project is the fruit of the project working staff. He expressed, he would invite Premier Hun Sen to attend the completion ceremony and apply to the Premier for honorable medals to the working staffs with great contributions. Our company leaders expressed their thanks for this and for the long term support from Cambodian Irrigation and Meteorology Ministry. Our party will continue hard working for this project and for the water irrigation cause of Cambodia, composing a new friendship melody for China and Combodia.
