At the beginning of November, 2014, all the staff in two batches made a trip to He Nan and Shanxi provinces for investigation, which was organized by GDFC. After we arrived Zhengzhou by air, we successively visited Memorial Temple of Lord Bao located in Kaifeng city and Daxiangguo Temple which was one of the most famous temples in Central Plain. The next day, we visited the ancient Shaolin Temple, which was the source of the Zen Buddhism and was also famous for his Kung fu, and we watched the Shaolin Kung fu show; after that we visited Longmen Grottoes that was the World Historical and Culture Heritage and was one of the three greatest grottoes in China. We also visited the one of the Eight Sceneries in Luo Yang “Longmen Scenery “and enjoyed the highest achievement of Buddhism and art in High Tang period.

After we leaved the ancient capitals Luo Yang and Kai Feng, and Song Mountain, we went to Hua Mountain by high-speed rail. Hua Mountain was famous for its precipice. We were enchanted by the beautiful scenery in Hua Mountain-the cliffs, the precipice, the trees covered with snow, the scenery in the blue sky and the scenery with snow.
After we leaved Weinan, we came to Xi’an-as one of the four major ancient capitals in the world. The Chinese cultures, customs, virtues and traditions which were settling down after thousands of years by Chinese nation were still quietly handed down here. Xi’an-named Chang’an in the history was the capital of thirteen dynasties. Xi’an enjoyed King City’s spirit due to splendid achievement made by Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang Dynasties. We could perceive the stories and legends told by history, which included listening the sound of camel ring from the ancient Silk Road, and knowing about the stories of the envoys from the countries, Xuanzang translating the verse and Yang gui fei performing and singing in the Operatic Garden. Walking along the street and the wall, the visitors could feel wandering in the history.

In Xi’an, we visited one of the Eight Wonders of the world-Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang Mausoleum. We watch the movie Legend of the Daming Palace-the love story about Prince of Kang and Princess of Daming. We visited the Daming Palace National Heritage Park which was honored as the sacred palace of the ancient Silk Road in the world. The Palace is simple but rich in connotation, beautiful and historic. In Xi’an, we also visited the royal garden culture theme park-Tang Paradise; we enjoyed the music fountain at the Big Goose Pagoda, and we wandered at Qujiang and experienced the charms of Da Tang that never slept city. And we walked through the Bell&Drum Tower square ,and came to the Islamic street for experiencing the cuisine here.
The five-day trip is a little bit hurry for us, but all the scenery we enjoyed during the trip including the mountains, the cities and the palaces were extremely impressive。
