On December 5, 2014, the Completion and Inauguration Ceremony of University of Goroka Student Residence Building Project (Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 4) built by our company solemnly took place in the campus of University of Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea. Deputy Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea Hon. Leo Dion attended the ceremony and made a speech. The Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Papua New Guinea Mr. Zhang Liyong, provincial governors and ministers of Papua New Guinea Government and dignitaries of Eastern Highlands Province attended the ceremony. The construction quality of the Project (Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 4) was highly praised by Hon. Leo Dion, Mr. Zhang Liyong and the university at the ceremony. They thanked the efforts that have brought about fruitful results made by GDFC for six years to explore the integration of construction specification, construction technique and construction material of China and Papua New Guinea. The Vice Chancellor of University of Goroka praised that the Project was novel in design, unique in style, sufficient in function and reliable in quality, calling it to be the unique hotel-style student residence in Papua New Guinea and even South Pacific island states. He said this Project was not only the landmark building in Eastern Highlands Province, but also set a model for university student residence in Papua New Guinea.
