With the purpose of better understanding of their working and living circumstance abroad, listening to their opinions and suggestions on the company’s overseas business development from returnees of oversea projects, and in order to help young employees develop their career plans, a returnee symposium and new employee training session was held on july 11th at the company headquarter. Company representatives of different departments, returnee representatives from oversea projects and new employees attended the meeting chaired by the Chief Personnel Officer, Mr. Chen Zhimin.

A documentary short film made on the 2016 Chinese New Year festival was shown at the beginning of the meeting, representing achievement and honors acquired by the company, as well as the future outlook and expectations.
During the meeting, returnee representatives shared their working experiences abroad, concerning project management and operation, foreign working experience and mental outlook, personal growth experience, customs and other aspects of the host country. Chief Engineer of Papua New Guinea branch company, Mr. Zhang Kunlin introduced Papua New Guinea’s geography and custom, completed projects and on-going projects in Papua New Guinea, different types of project abroad, explained difference between concessional loan projects and buyer’s credit loan projects, and he also expressed the talent demand of the branch for future projects. Project manager of Bolivia, Mr. Wang Junwei introduced the Bolivian national geography, working and living experiences of the branch in Bolivia, development status of Chinese enterprises, he also expressed his opinion that project development should based on the political and economic environment between countries, respect the local social culture and customs, team work and energetic team spirit. Representative from the China aid Cambodia information technology building, Mr. Wang Caiwen shared photos upon project completion, introduced usage of new technologies, new processes and new energy saving materials of the project. He also shared his opinion of handling the eight internal and external relations for work and life abroad.
On the following new employee training session, Chief Personal Officer Mr. Chen Zhimin presented the company’s overall situation, training, planning and management of talented reserves, he also expressed his expectations of the new employees on their growth, personal career development, full development of their potential, enhance the comprehensive management capabilities, afterwards, he also exchanged with the participants on the company’s 2016 annual work plan, company culture construction, etc. At last, Mr. Chen proposed his wishes and demands for the participants, he said that the company has always attached great importance to personal training and use, he hopes that everyone should cherish the company’s platform, to make himself a good employee with qualities as follows: have ideals, innovative, have visions, strong perseverance, honesty, willing to learn, team work, sense of responsibility, and contribute to the company’s development.
There was a warm and active atmosphere during the whole meeting, everyone expressed their opinions on the company development and project management issues, and hope the company to organize more similar activities to enhance mutual understanding, to strengthen exchanges and promote cooperation, they also have full confidence on the company’s future and determined to work even dutifully to contribute their efforts to the company’s development.
