GDFC Held Jiangxi Project Staff Forum in Guangzhou

In order to deeply learn the working and living condition of frontline staff, hear their opinions and suggestions on project construction, and encourage young employees to enhance professional and technical level and to actively participate in qualification examination and professional title assessment, a Jiangxi Project Staff Forum was held in the conference room at company headquarter at 10:00 am on May 22. Heads and staff representatives of each department and project staff attended the meeting. The forum was chaired by Chen Zhimin, the Administration and Human Resources Director of the Company.
The participants went into the conference room with the background music-- "Song of GDFC”, the song of the company.


At the meeting, Director Chen Zhimin first warmly welcomed and greeted the Jiangxi project staff. Combining with recent targets and tasks of the company, he pointed out that as a "going out" enterprise in Guangdong Province implementing actively the "the Belt and Road" strategy of China, GDFC has made new progress in oversea markets as well as achievements in internal management. He encouraged everyone to continue carrying forward the company spirit of "Endeavor and Commitment", to learn, to practice, to be strong, to be united and to work hard for joint development of personal and company. He also pointed out that it is essential to study along with working and actively enhance professional skills. Obtaining certificates; training, and practice are important ways of learning.
Zhang Kunlin, head of Engineering Department, shared his experiences of project implementation and management citing the projects in Papua New Guinea. He said, choosing construction engineering, we must prepare for hardship.
Then, Yang Wenxin, Jiangxi project construction staff, brief reported the progress of the project and showed relevant pictures. Key points and difficulties during project implementation were also discussed, as well as personal experiences, advices and suggestions on project management.
On the forum, the project staff expressed their opinions and views freely. They extended their gratitude to the company for providing the platform and opportunity to implement projects. They felt honored to be invited to the forum. The policy of providing awards and allowances to staff obtaining professional qualifications and titles —— for improving company qualification, enhancing competitiveness and professional reputation and stimulating motivation of learning —— is supported by all the staff.
Xiao Dongcai, project staff representative, said that majoring in automation, he feels product and technologies are updating very soon these days and he has to constantly improve technical level and learn new professional knowledge to ensure self-progress and keep up with development of times. Gao Chengqing said, when he first took the construction work after graduated from college, there were differences between theory and practice. He is grateful for the seniors who had taught him step by step that he has learned a lot in a short time, which makes him agrees the company culture of “teach, help, and guide” very much. Fan Jiaping, staff representative of headquarter, said he has gained much experiences after working in Jiangxi for over 3 years that we need to learn more, speak out ideas or doubts according to the situation and unexpected gains may come across during discussion. In addition, communication and coordination is also very important.
The forum was warm and active. The project staff said they will involve in the construction work with full enthusiasm for successful completion of the Yuezhiquan project; they will also learn hard and improve self-quality in spare time for the continuous and healthy development of company.
