Jan 30, 2019, Guangdong Foreign Construction Co., Ltd. (GDFC) held the New Year Gathering grandly at Soluxe Hotel Guangzhou. Dr. Xiao Limin, Board Chairman of Guangdong Jiangong Investment Co., Ltd. & Director of GDFC, GDFC Board Chairman Mr. Zhou You, General Manager Mr. Liu Yizhong, Vice General Manager Mr. He Sili and Mr. Han Dianfeng attended the gathering party to celebrate and enjoy the New Year Festival together with all the staff.
At the gathering, Chairman Zhou You, on behalf of the shareholders and board of directors of the company, delivered a warm and passionate New Year speech and extended the most sincere gratitude and the most heartfelt blessing to the conscientious and dedicate employees and their family members who are being supportive and caring. He also paid the highest respect to the employees who are sticking at the post during the Festival.
Chairman Zhou You said, in the past year the company has advanced forward through various difficulties and challenges. In the past years GDFC also keeps optimizing management, innovating operation and continues exploring. We actively improve inner management, reduce cost, exploit potentialities and increase efficiency, which has gained certain achievements. He said these achievements are the result of hard work of all levels of the company as well as the result of unity, cooperation and contribution of all the employees. He emphasized that everyone must work together with one heart and one mind, forge ahead to complete the company annual objectives of the coming year.
There has been wind and rain along the ten-year road of GDFC. In order to further promote the corporate culture of “pragmatic, progress, dedication, and devotion”, we cultivate and shape the sense of group honor and understanding of mission for all employees, and continuously enhance the cohesiveness of company. At the gathering, General Manager Liu Yizhong announced the awards to commend the employees who had served the company for ten or more years, thanking them for their contributions and hard work in the development of company. Dr. Xiao Limin was specially invited to present the gold medals and honorary certificates to the meritorious staff. During the awarding, Dr. Xiao Limin made a wonderful speech with the theme of “Gratefulness, Gratitude and Contentment” combining his 20-year experiences of entrepreneurship. He said one must learn to be grateful, to return to the society, and to have a better sense of social responsibility. Since the establishment, GDFC has come through unstable situations to flourishment and development that all progresses cannot be separated from the joint efforts and selfless dedication of all staff, from the support and trust of leaders at all levels and friends from all sectors, and from earnest instructions of teachers, and of course inseparable from the support and concern of our parents and family. Therefore, the company's leaders would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the ten-year meritorious staff with gold medals. In addition, Dr. Xiao Limin pointed out that in the current era of times, our company is facing complex challenges as well as opportunities.
