Engineering Site: Lianjiang River in Yingde City (Xiniu Town)

Engineering Nature and Scope: Primarily for electricity generation, also for functions of flood control and water supply. The total installed capacity is 36 thousand kilowatts. The total reservoir capacity is 130 million cubic meters. The total investment is 600 million RMB. The annual generation capacity is 210 million kilowatt-hours.

Engineering Contents: main dam is 245 m wide totally, the dam is 115 m high, it has a 4-hole water release sluice, there are generation plant and  auxiliary transformer substation on the right bank.

Commence and completion dates: started on 15th of October in 2009, confer dam enclosure was done on 5th of June in 2010, it was verified and approved on 6th of April,2012, and put into formal operation in December of 2012.
